その週の週末は今年のふるさと納税を終わらせようと思っていましたが、このマル激見たら出来なくなってしまうかもなぁと薄々思ってはいました。申し込み終わってから見た方が良いかなぁとも思いましたが、見てしまいました。

あぁ、やっぱり！
もう、ふるさと納税は止める事にしました。
と言っても家族はまだやっており、私もお相伴にあずかるわけで、あまり強く言える立場ではないかもしれませんが、少なくとも、ふるさと納税を利用する時に、それによってどのような負の影響があるかは知っていて頂きたいです。
ふるさと納税は、税の逆進性と格差を増長させるものである事は知っていましたが、私が知らなかったのは、ふるさと納税によって必要以上に税収を得る事になった自治体も、それとは別に地方交付税交付金をもらい続けるという事です。税収は使われず貯蓄され、一方で他の自治体では税収不足で必要な社会福祉が行き届かなくなります。また、もう1つこれまで注意してこなかった事は、プラットフォーム手数料など、それまで必要がなかった余計な費用が結構かかっているという事です。
いざ止めてみると、何と清々しいのでしょう。いつまでに何を「注文しなければ」など考える必要がなく、今月の自由時間が増えました。（の、割にはブログ更新があまり進んでいませんが・・・）

再び、牛田智大さんが演奏するコンサートに行きました。今回の指揮者は坂入さんでしたが、前回組んだ時より良かったと思います。ただ母曰くホルンの音が大きすぎたという事で、それって指揮者の責任なんじゃ・・・と思いますが。
その日の夜はマル激ライブも予定されていましたが、ご存じの通り宮台先生が先日重症を負った為そちらは延期されました。結果、ゆっくり最後まで聴く事ができました。

I was planning to finish applying for this year’s Furusato Nouzei (you choose local governments you pay tax to and receive gifts from the local governments in return) that weekend, but I thought I wouldn’t probably be able to continue doing it once I watched this programme by the videonew.com. So once I thought I should watch this after finishing the applications….

But I watched it first after all, and it turned out that my guess was right.
I’ve decided to stop doing Furusato Nouzei anymore.
Since some of my family members still do, I still get some benefits by sharing dinner with them, and I may not be in a position to say to stop it strongly, but please understand how harmful this system is when you do.
I knew it’s a system that escalate regression of the tax system, but what I didn’t know was that many local governments, which receive much exceeded amount than they need through Furusato Nouzei, still get tax allocations to local governments. The result is the revenue is just saved and unused, while there’s shortfall of tax revenue for needed social welfare services in other municipalities. What I also hadn’t been care was that not a small portion of our tax is resulted in being used for what are otherwise not needed, such as to platform fees.
Once I quit Furusato Nouzei, what a refreshing feeling it is. Life is much easier. I don’t have to consider what to ‘order’ by when, so I’ve actually got more free time this month (though I haven’t been able to update my blog much in spite of that….)

Went to a concert, in which Tomoharu Ushida performed, again. I think this time the partnership with Maestro Sakairi was better than the last time, though my mother pointed out that horn’s sound was a little too big, and we guess that’s maestro’s responsibility….
Marugeki Live was also scheduled in the evening, but as you may know, Miyadai-sensei got severely injured so the event was postponed. So I could listened to until the end.
