It always feels bitter when the holiday ends. I’m so lazy person that it never felt refreshing to be back to the everyday life.
The final highlight of the early-May holiday season this year was that I went to a JCP Supporter event DEMOCRACY HOUSE.
The familiar venue LOFT9 Shibuya was filled by talk sessions and some workshops, as well as original goods, foods and drinks. The entrance was for free though one drink order was required.

Though I had also signed up for JCP Supporter, I didn’t participate in preparation and simply joined an hour or so there. JCP Supporter doesn’t have much obligation and you can support to the extent you can.
I wanted to see the talk session of my fave Taku Yamazoe kun, theming freedom in Palestine, but at the timing I joined, the gender talk session with Tamutomo was ongoing. Oh well, it was informing also. Also became to know Tamutomo trying hard to post on her instagram account… even exposing her face without makeup (!).
The attendees looked younger than JCP members I often come across. Hope younger energy will also grow.
Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
Another highlight was that I had a lunch with a good friend of mine M-chan for the first time in more than one and half a year. It was such fun and so many things to catch up, obviously. With this alone, the holiday paid off.
She kindly brought some sweet gifts as well. I like trying something good friends recommend and enjoy new encounters, so I really appreciate it.
