So I attended this year’s Rondan Fes as well.
It’s more of less a fun fan event for me already, and to be honest, I prioritised enjoying hot spring stay this time and went to see some of my faves here and there.
There are more guests this year, so I enjoyed talking to Sota-sama (constitutional scholar and professor Sota Kimura) and Kurihara-sensei (an anarchist Yasushi Kurihara) for the first time, as well as Shirai-sensei so as last year. Didn’t have time to talk to Saito-sensei and Shimada-sensei, or Miyadai-sensei and Darth-san, but oh well, maybe next time.

The society is rough and the life is tough, so unless we try to enjoy small happy moments of our lives, it’s really hard to go through what’s in front of us.
This year’s event is over but the archive videos are still available. So why not you experience the valuable sessions online this year and join us onsite next year?

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
Rondan Fes has now become an annual event, but International Chopin Piano Competition has been taking place every 5 years. Again, how time flies! The result is not far from what we expected. Our Tomo was not properly recognised this time either, but we already understand this is how the classic music competitions are like….

The bright side is that there are more archived videos became available because of the competition’s streaming.
