So it’s done! As you can see, LDP won the election at ‘historic victory’ while JCP, which I supported, halved the number of seats. So it’s done, Japan’s really done! I rather want to say so and just give up.
However the reality is, I cannot say that easily, seeing JCP surviving through the even harder times such as the war time period, in which the members of JCP were arrested and tortured, sometimes to death. Or, seeing there are decent people who have been trying their best to prevent the society to fall for all those years, such as videonews.com, which claims that Japan would have been done a long time ago without it.
Also, Navalny’s last word ‘You are not allowed to give up’ really don’t allow me to give up. Oh yes… if Navalny says so, I can’t say I give up.
Thank all who paid attention and listened to my opinions and questions, and some even voted for JCP. Through this election, I rediscovered how people are not interested in politics, though it can never be kind enough to be disconnected with them, and how not serious about the fraud, unjust and unfairness that lead to the pain of others if not theirs.
To me, it’s not the matter of ideology, nor the matter of difference in opinions. In almost all the topics, it’s crystal clear which manifest or policy is good for us, citizens. To concede 100 steps, I can understand the rich, who benefit from the inflated stock market or those who work at military industry, if they support LDP, but for most of us general people, LDP slowly dames our lives. Some people who found LDP hopeless sometimes support other parties such as Team Mirai, but do you know almost all the policies of Team Mirai’s the same as LDP? It’s just younger LDP, that hasn’t probably done frauds, but LDP led the lost 30 more years and it’s already clear its policies failed.
It’s also uncomfortable thing to me (I also don’t like that awkward moment! I just got used to it compared with the past….) but I decided to talk more about politics in daily life, though I suspect such little change of my behaviour can’t change the society, grassroots activities are almost always only the thing individual can do.
Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
I saw a stage of Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night” played by the graduating trainees of Theatrical group EN. Since I see more kabuki, ballet, or going to classic music concerts more, so straight plays are fewer, but straight plays equally gives me unforgettable experience!
