私は4/10の京都府知事選挙では梶川憲さんを応援しています。いくつか理由がありますが、特に目を引いたのは以下の点です。

- 原発を止めて、なくす、という主張
私もいつだって原発が廃止されることを切に願っています - 住民の声を無視しているエリア計画を止めて再考する、という主張
京都府立植物園が植物園からアミューズメントパークに変えるという計画は、このキャンペーンのおかげで知っていました。

対立候補の現職知事は市民の声を無視しています。
まだ京都府立植物園は行けたことがないのですが、行けるのを楽しみにしています。アミューズメントパークになったら何とつまらないことでしょう。
でもこの計画は、更に大きな大企業の儲け計画のほんの一部のようですね・・・。
京都は私の第三の故郷ですが（第一はロン・・・岩手で、第二はロンドンです）、残念ながら投票権を持っていません。ですので京都府民の皆さん、大企業ではなく府民に仕える知事を選んでください！
京都の行政は定期的にニュースレターを発行しているようで、そこには自治体が何をしていて、それが人々の生活とどのように関係するか、等が載っています。よくポストに入っていて、良い取組なんじゃないかと思いました。

京都では桜が満開になりました！今日の雨で散ってしまったかもしれませんが・・・

I back for Ken Kajikawa for upcoming election of the Kyoto Gubernatorial on 10th April. There’re several reasons, but following two facts especially caught my eyes.
- He manifests to stop and abolish nuclear power plant.
That’s what I’ve always been wanting! - He manifests to stop and reconsider areal development plan, which ignores the voices of citizens.
I knew about the danger the Kyoto Botanical Gardens are facing – the plan, which will turn the botanical gardens into an amusement park, because of this campaign.

The opponent candidate, who is current Gubernatorial, has been ignoring the voices.
I haven’t visited there yet, but have been looking forward to. If it became an amusement park, that would be very wretched.
And it seems it’s only a part of a bigger development plan for enterprises’ profit….
Kyoto is my 3rd hometown (the 1st is Lo… Iwate, and the second is London), and unfortunately I don’t have a voting right. So Kyoto citizens, please select a Gubernatorial, who serves for citizens, not for big enterprises!
It seems administrations of Kyoto, regularly issue newsletters, which tell citizens things such as what’s going on at local governments and how it relates to their life, by the way. They’re often posted in my mailbox, and I thought it’s a good initiative.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom in Kyoto! Though today’s rain may have scattered them…
The sakura at Kodai-ji Zen Temple is graceful and nice.
