Finally I missed posting in August, but narrowly avoided not posting two months in a row….
I went to 9 Cafe, a JCP talk event with Yoshiko Kira and Taku Yamazoe held at LOFT9 Shibuya yesterday.
Although I caught a cold and it took much effort to actually go, I totally enjoyed it once I went.
Panel discussions are fun and insightful. Kira-san’s report of South Korea, where democratic activities are so active, was very encouraging. Yamazoe-san’s talk with film director Takashi Nishihara provoked creative side of me, as I also aim to appeal peace and human rights through expressions. And Kira x Yamazoe talk introducing comments from the attendees are encouraging as we could feel we are not alone and there are actually like minded people.
I also finally purchased a light, that I can use for penlight protest activities. This one’s produced by Kira-san, though I use green, Yamazoe-san’s colour.
Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
I tend to catch a cold when the busiest time passes, when I feel relieved.
As well as my work and labour union activities had been especially busy these months, I went to both Kyoto and Morioka this month. Travels do consume my stamina.

Had tea time at Maeda Coffee in Kyoto. (photo permission granted)
