ほぼ最初の選挙ボランティアは里吉さんに My Almost First Election Volunteer was for Satoyoshi-san

今回の都議選で、里吉さんの応援ボランティアをしました。意外にも、私にとってほぼ初めての選挙ボランティアです。車上アナウンスと、チラシの証紙貼りとポスティングを経験しました。

議員に何より必要なのは体力だとは知りませんでした！私のボランティアは半日だけでしたが、一日中、毎日、これをやるとは・・・！

また、演説が聞こえている場所以外では候補者の顔写真入りのチラシを配ってはいけないとか、選挙のくだらないルールの多さにも驚きました。

というわけで、世田谷の皆さん、里吉さんに投票してください！個人的にはもう1年くらいの付き合いなので、人柄は保証できます。歌舞伎も好きみたい！

歌舞伎を初めて観たのは2023年で、定期的に行くようになったのは2024年からです。だから、最近の映画「国宝」に影響された俄かではない！・・・いえ、まだまだ俄かです。歌舞伎の世界は奥深くて・・・。

歌舞伎界の大名跡の一つ、尾上菊五郎八代目の襲名（七代目は引き続き七代目）、その息子の六代目尾上菊之助の襲名で、五月・六月は歌舞伎ファンはお祭りムードです。私も襲名披露公演を一幕見で5回観ました。なんて芸術！襲名展にも立ち寄りました。

I volunteered to support Satoyoshi-san for this Tokyo Assembly elections. Surprisingly, it was my first election volunteer. I experienced announcement on the car, as well as labeling of the flyers and flyer posting.

I didn’t know assembly members need stamina more than anything! My volunteer was only half a day, but she has to do this all day, everyday…!

I was also surprised by many stupid and trivial rules of elections, such as we can’t distribute flyer with candidate’s face on unless the speech is being heard….

Anyway, people in Setagaya, please vote for Satoyoshi-san! I’ve personally known her for a year or so by now. I can guarantee of her personality. Plus, she said she also liked kabuki!

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’

I first watched kabuki in 2023, became to a regular goer from 2024. So mind you, I’m not a casual fan influenced by recent film “Kokuho!” ….
Oh well, I admit I’m still so much a casual fan, as the world of kabuki is so deep!

This May and June are kind of festival season for kabuki fans, as one of the biggest names of kabuki, Kikugoro Onoe has been succeeded to the VIII (while VII still continues to act as VII), with his son succeeding Kikunosuke Onoe VI. I watched 5 single stages of the succession memorial stages. What an art…. I stopped by the exhibition as well.
