So now the US and Israel started attacking Iran and Lebanon… and Japanese government didn’t criticise the US at all, and rather, criticised Iran.

It’s not only ethically wrong, but also strategically wrong. I don’t know how we can survive without oil. Can we find alternative resource and get rid of oil, which is the cause of climate change, using this rather as a chance? The chances are slim….

Actually even before that, there were many more attacks, which weren’t covered by news enough, but after Russia’s military invasion in Ukraine, especially after Israel’s genocide in Gaza, US’s attack in Venezuela, I think people got numb.

Some also say that if the world had seriously stopped the genocide in Gaza, those attacks in Iran wouldn’t have happened. I agree. The world showed that the world wouldn’t stop genocide.

I kind of understand it’s hard to spend our daily lives, had we not separate our life from those ongoing human disasters, but still, I avoid getting numbed and face the reality, and keep doing what I can do.

I joined a protest activity for the first time in a long time. I heard protest activities are getting more active these days, though mass medias doesn’t broadcast at all.

I understand that activeness is still very small compared with the size of the large majority of indifferent people, so I can’t really feel positive even hearing that. However, this fact at least encourages to join protest activities myself.
