断ボコというのは、この動画で何回も使われている造語で、断トツの反対なので断ボコです。（本当は断トツのトツは突出の「トツ」でなくトップの「トッ」らしいので、凸の反対=凹という話は違うっぽいのですが、面白いからいいよね、言いやすいし）
現代日本の劣等性や後進性を示すデータは既に見慣れてきましたが、聴いていてやはりため息が出るのは止められません。
ですのでゲストの本田由紀さんが最後の方で、落ち込んでいないで、まず怒ろう、課題がいっぱいあるという事はやれる事がいっぱいあるという事だ、というような事を言っていて、驚くほどポジティブな言葉に励まされました。
残念ながら、今回は無料部分だけ視聴したらかなり憂鬱な気持ちになってしまうかもしれません。「じゃぁどうする？」というのは有料部分で話されています。
私も個人的に、最近友人との交流が不足しているなと反省しました。日本では友人や同僚とプライベートで過ごす時間は平均週2時間ほどだそうです！が、私の場合は2時間すらないです、特に最近はコロナを口実に・・・。

先日、World Ballet Day 2021を観なきゃという話をしましたが、暫く前に見終わりました。
レッスン部分もとても楽しいのですが、今回のハイライトはマリアネラ・ヌニェスによる傑作「ジゼル」のミルタ役のリハーサルでした。彼女はヒロインのジゼル役もすごくピュアで胸が痛くなる美しさなのですが、彼女のミルタ（冷酷な妖精の女王）もまた素晴らしいです。高貴で美しく、静かな熾烈さがあります。
私はマリアネラは史上ナンバー1のバレリーナだと思っています。完璧なテクニックはもちろん、つま先から足の先まで優美で、舞台上の登場人物そのものになりきり、キャラクターを魅力的にします。
ネラと同時代に生まれ、生で彼女の舞を観れるなんて、なんて幸運だろうと思います。コロナが終わったらもっと生で観に行きたいです。

Danboko is the coined word often used in the video, meaning ‘at the bottom’.
I’m already used to face such data, which indicates the inferiority or backwardness of current Japan, but I still can’t help sighing listening to it.
So what the guest speaker Yuki Honda said near the end, something like, ‘don’t get down, let’s get angry’ ‘there are a lot of issues means that there are a lot of things we can do’, is surprisingly positive and encouraging.
Unfortunately, you may feel too depressed if you stop watching at the free part this time. ‘Then now what?’ is in the paid part.
I personally also reflected that I lack interactions with friends these days. The average time personally spent with friends or colleagues per week is only 2 hours in Japan! But I actually spend less, especially these days, using the pandemic as an excuse….
Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
I talked about watching World Ballet Day 2021 the other day, and I finally watched it some time ago.
While watching the lesson is certainly enjoyable, but the highlight is the rehearsal video of Marianela Nuñez as Myrtha from the masterpiece “Giselle”. Her Giselle is also so pure and heartbreakingly beautiful, but her Myrtha (merciless queen of fairies) is also very special. Noble and stunning, while being silently fierce.

I regard Marianela as the best ballet dancer of all time. Not to mention her perfect technique, her dancing is graceful from head to toe, and she’s truly each character on stage, and makes them so attractive.
I feel so blessed to be alive in the same time with Nela, able to watch her dance live. I hope I can go watch live more after this pandemic.
