期日前投票に行きました I Voted.

31日は東京にいない予定だったので、期日前投票に行ってきました。

衆議院選挙にももちろん非常に強い関心がありますが、最高裁判官の国民審査もそれと同じくらい重要です。
例え選挙に興味がなくても、最高裁判官の国民審査には行くべきです。
例えば、今の裁判官で、自分が冤罪で有罪になったらどうなるだろうとか考えると恐ろしくなります。

とはいえ、どの裁判官がどんな人なのか、中々分からないですよね。

そんな方には、日本民主法律家協会が出しているリーフレットが参考になります。

最近はほぼリモートワークなのですが、今日は久々にオフィスに行かなければならない日でした（しかもアメリカとのテレカンの為に、朝7:30から。。。）

それを乗り越える為、仕事の合間に家族とちょっと豪華なランチをしました。フランス料理のソンブルイユというお店。憧れの従叔母の紹介の場所なので、間違いなしです！世の中お金が（平和と愛と健康の次に）大事だなと思いました。

オフィスに行くことがなさすぎて、何か楽しみを作らないと会社に行けない体になってしまっている今日この頃・・・

As I won’t be around on 31st, I went voting earlier.

I’m very interested in Lower House election, but review for judges of Supreme Court is equally important.
Even if you’re not interested election, you should go reviewing for judges of Supreme Court.
For instance, it’s scary to imagine what would happen if you were falsely convicted.

However, it’s not very easy to know which judge is what kind of person.

Thankfully, there’s a reference created by Japan Democratic Lawyer’s Association.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’

I’m mostly working remotely these days, but I had to go to office today (for the meeting starting at 7:30 AM! connecting with the US…).

To reward myself, I had a rather gorgeous lunch with my family, in between work. French restaurant SOMBREUIL. My mother’s cousin we admire introduced this place, and it can’t go wrong. I felt money is important(, next to peace, love and health).

I go to office so rarely that my body has become unable to take it anymore, without some treats…
