今こそパブリックコメントに参加しよう Let’s Participate a Public Comment

第6次エネルギー基本計画に対するパブリックコメントに参加した際、パブリックコメントの数々は完全に無視された事は事実なのですが、それでも声を上げ続ける事は大事だと思っています。

2030年に廃炉される予定だった石炭火力発電所を「アップサイクル」して使い続けるという、GENESIS松島計画というものがあります。

アップサイクルだなんて、何というグリーンウォッシュ！もちろんこれは、石炭火力発電所が二酸化炭素を出し続け、気候変動に寄与するという事を意味します。

2回目のパブリックコメントという事ですが、1回目の際に集まった多くの声が実際に計画に影響を及ぼしているという事です。

パブリックコメントを書くための勉強会も開催しています。私も参加したかったのですが、直近は勉強会に参加する時間はとれなそうだったので、仕方なくそのままコメントを提出しました。

私達の社会には石炭火力発電所は必要ありません。適切なエネルギーガバナンスさえあれば、再生可能エネルギーだけで十分です。環境エネルギー政策研究所所長の飯田哲也さんはよくビデオニュースドットコムに登場して解説してくれます。

と言いつつ、本日の「あったずもな」

先週あったもう1つのイベントは、我らが歌姫夏川りみさんのツアー最終コンサートでした。実は東京でのツアー初日にも行ったのですが、もう一度行ってしまいました。もっと英語を訓練してもらって、彼女の美しい歌声を世界中に届けてくれたらいいのになぁと思います。いつもながら、浄化されました。

ツアー初日の後にはファンミーティングにも行きました。母がファンクラブ会員なので、ついて行きました。唯一無二の歌声を持っている事もちろんですが、私が彼女の好きなところは、気さくで飾らないところです（私と違って・・・）。

It’s true that the last time I participated a public comment against the 6th Basic Energy Plan, the plan entirely ignored public comments, but still, I believe it’s important to keep raising voices.

There’s a plan to ‘up-cycle’ coal-fired power plant to be decommissioned in 2030, and continue to use it. That’s GENESIS Matsushima Project.

Up-cycle? What a greenwashing it is! Of course that meant the coal-fired power plant will continue to emit more CO2, which leads to the climate change!

It’s actually the second round of the public comment, and it says that a lot of voices gathered through the first round actually made the impact on the project.
It also offers study sessions for writing public comment. I wanted join but since I don’t seem to be able to find time anytime soon, I just submitted my comment.

Again, we don’t need coal-fire power plants to have enough energy supply. We just need proper energy governance, and renewable energies are enough. Tetsunari Iida, the head of the NPO Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (ISEP) sometimes appear on videonews.com and provides easy to understand explanations.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’

Last week, another event was the tour final concert of our diva, Rimi Natsukawa. I also went to the tour first day in Tokyo, but went again! I hope she practices English more and deliver her beautiful singing voice to the world…. As always, I felt purified.

I also went to her fan club gathering after the first concert. My mother is a fan club member and I accompanied. One of the things I like about her is that she’s friendly and unpretentious (unlike myself…), not to mention she has one and only singing voice.
