既に数ヵ月が経過しましたが、東京都で12/5に、太陽光パネル設置義務化を含む、カーボンハーフ実現に向けた条例制度改正案が採択されました。
この件に関しては、11月に、ゼロエミという、国際環境NGOグリーンピース・ジャパンの中のグループが主催する勉強会に参加しました。そこで学んだ事は、この案に対する反対意見は見当違いのものばかりだという事でした。また、よく誤解されていますが、設置義務を負う事になるのは消費者ではなく、事業者です。
ゼロエミのアドバイスに従い、世田谷区の都議会議員のうち、賛成を表明していない自民党と公明党の議員に、この件について、どのような意見を持っているか、また、賛成して欲しい旨を、メールで問い合わせました。正直かなり最後の最後というタイミングの問い合わせにはなってしまったのですが、残念ながらというか、予想通りというか、返信はありませんでした。因みに下記の議員が私のメール、或いはフォームからの問い合わせを無視した議員です。

残念ながら三宅しげき議員（自民党）の分はメールアドレスさえ見つかりませんでした。

1月の事ですが、ニュージーランド在住の友人Yさんが、夏休みの日本滞在中に我が家に遊びに来てくれました。最近人をお招きする機会があまりなかった事もあり、とても楽しかったです！コロナはありますが、もう少し普段からお招きしたいところです・・・
おもてなしする機会が無さ過ぎて料理をきれいに盛り付けられなかった（味はまぁまぁだったけど）ので写真がありませんが、代わりにＹさんからお土産で頂いたものの写真を載せておきます。次回お会いするまでに本読めていると良いのですが・・・本当、本読むの遅すぎて・・・。
仲間だと思っている友人が、たまに日本を捨てて海外に行ってしまうので、寂しいです。まぁでも外国に訪ねて行ける事を考えると楽しいかもしれません・・・。
It’s already been a few months, but a proposal of revisions of Ordinance Programs to Achieve Carbon Half, which includes mandate installation of solar panels, was passed on 15th December in Tokyo.
I joined a study session regarding this, held by a group called Zeroemi (meaning zero emission) of International Environmental NGO Green Peace Japan late November. There, I learned that objections to this proposals are misdirecting. It’s also often misunderstood that consumers will be obliged to install solar panels, but it’s actually businesses who need to follow the obligations.
Advised by Zeroemi, I also emailed to the LDP and Koumei Party members of the Tokyo Assembly for the Setagaya Eletoral Distric (other parties already agreed, thus not needed), asked whether they already decided their position, and said that I hope they agree. Though I admit it was pretty much last minute, I’m disappointed (or not, as it was as expected) that I didn’t receive replies at all. In case you’re interested, below is those who ignored my email/inquiry form submission.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
Back in January, a friend of mine Y-san, who lives in New Zealand visited my home during her summer vacation stay in Japan. I rarely welcome people at home these days, and it was fun! Would like to welcome more, despite the COVID….
It was so rare to welcome people at home, that I couldn’t make dishes pretty (though it tasted ok), thus there’s no photo for the party itself, but here’s the photo of her souvenir/gift. Hope I can read the book until the day I see here again… yes, I’m so slow in reading….
I miss some friends, who I can share certain feelings with, sometimes abandon Japan and go abroad, but oh well… let’s look at the bright side, it must be fun visiting friends abroad someday.
