Finally the deforestation has started.
What a pity, what a shame… but let’s minimise the sacrifice.
Jingu Gaien newsletter that I subscribe asked the supporters, who are against the redevelopment of Jingu Gaien to call Tokyo to stop deforestation in response to the case, where branches of two gingko were broken by someone, so I called. I was sent from one section to another, but it resulted in giving me opportunities to appeal to three times in different sections.
It’s said that 70% of Tokyo residents are against the development. Japanese rock music band Southern All Stars also sings about this issue. Let’s keep raising voice.
Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
Speaking of Southern All Stars, or the singer of the band, Keisuke Kuwata, he also sings about Japan’s subservience to the US. The lyrics is astonishing. It’s as if Shirai-sensei is talking…!
I respect him and expect more artists to theme social and political issues. As putting it bluntly, artists are meant to be such people, after all.
