統一地方選が近づいています。ここ世田谷区で投票予定の方で、誰に投票したら良いか決めかねている方は、是非坂本みえこさんに一票をお願いします。
残念ながら、私は直接お会いする機会がなかったのですが、母はお会いしました。ご近所の共産党員のHさんの誘いを受け、集まりに行ったのですが、質疑応答の時間に、母が彼女のキャッチコピーを、「憲法が希望」ではなく、「憲法が味方」か何かにしては？と提案したところ、（「憲法が希望」なんて、我々のような岩盤支持層にしか響かなそうなので・・・）母の意見に同意し、元々のキャッチコピーは（参議院議員の）山添さんのキャッチコピーをパクりました、と素直に認めていました。正直な人だなぁと思いました。母も、正直で温かく、気さくで好印象だったそうです。
世田谷区長には、保坂さんに投票する事もお忘れなく！日本共産党へのネガティブキャンペーンが行われていて、何故か保坂さんまで巻き込まれているとの事ですが、万一彼が負ける事があれば、杉並区に引っ越さなければならなくなります・・・。

そしてもう1つ忘れてはならないのが、大阪府知事選です。あんなに良い演説なのに、前回参議院選で落ちたなんて信じがたいです。もし大阪の選挙権を持っていらっしゃる方がいたら是非、たつみコータローさんに投票をお願いします！近頃こんなに忙しくなければ、大阪まで選挙応援に行きたいくらいです。

見ての通り、最近は忙しくてあまりブログを更新できませんでした。仕事が忙しかった事に加え、何か所か旅行しなければなく、3月中旬は盛岡に行っていました。そしてとうとう、盛岡で牛田智大さんのリサイタルに行けました！地元で我が智のリサイタルに行けるというのは、何だか特別な感じです。
コンサートの最後のスピーチで、3.11について語っていました。3.11は多くの人の心に傷を残しているので、この件について語るのはそんなに簡単ではないと思うのですが、自分の言葉で語ろうとする努力を尊敬します。
今回のチケットとプログラムは工夫されていて、珍しいなと思いました。（特にチケット！いつもは只の文字だけな事が多いので）

Nationwide local elections are approaching. If you have voting right in Setagaya and not quite sure who you’re voting to, please vote for Sakamoto Mieko-kun.
Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to meet her in person, but my mother have. Neighbour party member H-san asked my mother to come to one of her meetings. During Q&A session, mother suggested to change her catch copy, “Constitution is the hope” to “Constitution is on our side” or something, as “Constitution is the hope” may only make sense to the “bedrock supporters” like us. Sakamoto-san agreed that “Constitution is on our side” would be preferable, admitting that she borrowed the phrase from a member of the Upper House, Taku Yamazoe. When I heard about that, thought how honest she is. My mother’s impression of her is also very good – honest, warm and friendly person.

Please also don’t forget to vote for Hosaka-san for ward headman. There’s negative campaign against JCP candidates and somehow Hosaka-san is also targeted. In case such a thing that he can’t win happens, that means that I have to move to Suginami Ward, so….

Also, what we can’t forget is the election of the Governor of Osaka. With his very appealing speech, I can’t believe he couldn’t win at the last year’s Upper House election. If you live in Osaka, please vote for Kotaro Tatsumi! If I had been less busy these days, I wanted to go volunteer for his election.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’
As you can see, I’ve been busy these days and unable to update this blog. My work was rather packed as well as I had plans to travel a bit. I was in Morioka during mid March, and finally went to the recital of Tomoharu Ushida there! It feels a little special to go to his recital in my hometown.
Our Tomo made speech for 3.11 at the end. I think it’s a bit difficult matter to handle, left scars on so many people’s hears, so his effort and the way to put his thoughts for people on his own words was impressive.
The tickets and programmes had nice printing and I felt it’s rather rare. (Especially so for the tickets, as they’re normally just boring prints of texts.)
