The World Messier than Thought

After all the encounters, awareness and convictions these years, I thought I took granted this chaotic world already, but I didn’t really thought it would be that much. Even Miyadai-sensei seemed to be a little surprised, so no wonder….

I used to think that the Global South countries have less human rights protection, but after all, Western bloc is not human rights protective either. The world is still barbaric… letting the genocide go. Guterres showed his decency, but heads of many Western bloc nations stood with Israel.

Still… there’re 100 thousand of people stood up in London. Unfortunately, I will have been missing opportunities to join protests these days…. Well, hopefully sometime not so later.
Instead, I donate some through unicef, which offered donation programme specifically for Gaza.

Having said that, today’s ‘time for that’

As I mentioned before, despite my disregard with shojo/josei (targeting female readers) manga today (as I like that of old days like 60s to 80s), I found perhaps 3% of shojo/josei manga today is actually very good… I’m glad and relieved.
One of such good manga I read these days was “Burn the House Down.” I curse myself who couldn’t bear with the thrill and read spoilers first…. Excuse me to say but the author’s illustration skill was still developing stage, but it got better as it went, and the story development was very well done.
